HUT is an award-winning architectural practice, long-listed for Young Architect of the Year 2009.
We make architecture that is dynamic and animated - that nurtures a sense of connection with the environment,
the time of day, and nature. We design spaces that are an escape within the city - to experience a sense of
wilderness and the primal. We develop ideas of community through varied building typologies and differing
privacy thresholds. We make architecture of the moment; portable, temporary and experiential spaces. We recycle
buildings, giving them a new life. Our architecture embraces materiality and ageing, putting things to use rather
than using them up.
