Ed joined Hut Architecture in August 2007. He achieved a first class degree at the University of Nottingham and received the Hadfield Cawkwell Davidson Award for Practice and Management. His final year project looked at the ever increasing demands for space in Istanbul. The project surrounded a highway bridge that was to be turned into a lay-by development. It explored the speed at which we travel through spaces; from speeding car, to ambling pedestrian.
Ed enjoys exploring the depths of the ocean, careering down mountains on a snowboard and braving the streets of London in rush hour on a bike.
