A new build detached house on the site of an existing bungalow, this project is to be an exemplar of sustainable modern architecture. A street-facing elevation of timber cladding and locally sourced portland stone offers glimpses through and progressively opens up to the dunes and sea beyond. Designed for a family who have lived in Sandbanks for several generations, the spaces are designed to enjoy the beach, relax and eat together for this and many future generations.
