Due to complete in the next few weeks, Drill Hall is a substantial conversion project, transforming an industrial building to provide co-working spaces, a cafe and residential apartments in the heart of East London. Crisp insertions meet retained structure, creating unique and unexpected material junctions. Roof lights, translucent blocks and lightwells punctuate the plan to bring in daylight, emphasising the scale and spatial quality of the original building.
